The race Start/Finish is at the intersection of USFS 7 (Hale Ridge Rd) and USFS 696.

If you're coming from the Atlanta area or South Carolina, make sure you are NOT coming off of Warwoman Rd to Hale Ridge Rd.  We need to park folks all facing the same way on the right-hand side of Hale Ridge Rd.

From Dillard, GA: Turn onto GA 246 towards Highlands/ Sky Valley. (From Atlanta, you'll turn RIGHT. From Franklin, you'll turn LEFT.)

This will take you up the mountain and you will enter into North Carolina.

Stay on this road for approximately 6 miles.

It will change into 106 but stay on it.

Turn RIGHT onto Hale Ridge Rd. Head approximately 2 miles and then turn LEFT to stay on Hale Ridge Road.

The turn will be a gradual left turn and will be marked by a couple of Forest Service signs that point you towards Rabun Bald, 3 Forks Trail, FS 7, Hale Ridge Road etc.

The race start is about 3 miles down.

The road will change from paved to unpaved.

YOU WILL SEE COURSE MARKING/SIGNAGE FOR THE RACE.

Follow the markings and race signs until a volunteer shows you where to park.

From Highlands, NC: Take Dillard Rd/NC Hwy 106 for 9 miles.

Turn LEFT onto Hale Ridge Rd. 

Head approximately 2 miles and then turn LEFT to stay on Hale Ridge Road.
